Director: Martin Campbell
Genre: Action, Drama, and Thriller

An exciting and dramatic movie that contains a lot of action and death. I expected more from this movie and thought is was a little confusing. I recommend it to teenagers and adults who like action. I didn't appreciate it as much as the other movies that were released this year but it is a good movie with one of the most renowned actor, Mel Gibson.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

From the same creators of Harry Potter, Percy Jackson is a normal high school student until he is accused of stealing Zeus' lightning. He then discovers his origins and a whole new world in order to find the lightning thief and his mom who was captured by Hades. Watch the trailer here.

Director: Chris Colombus
Genre: Adventure, Fantasy

In my opinion this is a great movie. It has good effects and it reminds me of different movies together, X-Men, Harry Potter, and Narnia. It's mythology theme is also a great one that many enjoy and makes it entertaining and at the same time educational. It is a fascinating movie with a lot of action and surprises and is recommended for all ages. I was not expecting this movie to be as good as it is and I was caught by surprise. I expect the continuation and the creation of a second movie that'll be as good as this one.

500 Days of Summer

A romantic comedy where Tom Hansen falls in love for Summer Finn who doesn't believe in love or boyfriends. Throughout the movie, their story is portraied for 500 days where they face many ups and downs during their relationship. Watch the trailer here.

Director: Marc Webb
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Romance

In my opinion it's a touching story that portrays a realistic romance, different from other romantic movies that always finish with happy endings and cause false expectations and illusions for the individuals who watched it. It does not create romance stereotypes which is a difference between other romantic films. It's definetley an awesome film that's recomended for all individuals but mostly women.
